Polestar 2 – Running away from the electric competition

How does 408 horsepower and a 500 km range sound? Polestar is set to achieve this with a price tag of around 63 000 euro.

If you didn’t notice from the title, this is an electric car, and it is getting dangerously close to the Tesla. Polestar takes a slightly different route with a rather high sedan. The most similar car would in that case be the BMW X4, which in company with the Polestar 2 looks hideous.

Four wheel drive, 0-100 in 5 seconds and a possibility to add a performance package seems every bit as fast sedan as anything else could be. All this performance is tucked under the beautiful new generation Volvo silhouette while still getting some special design touches such as a deleted front intake.

The car just became official at the Geneva auto salon and the release date is not yet specified.
