Set to be delivered to customers in late 2020, the GT-R50 shows us the true design potential of the GT-R silhouette. Unfortunately, it is not made for the mass market with only 50 to be produced, but it is cool when a manufacturer listens to its customers. Apparently, the demand for a production version has been high, almost as high as the demand for a new generation GT-R. Yes Nissan, come on. It is time!

Italdesign is a company which is based in Turin. It seems that it is time for me to make a study visit. Think of the company as similar to Pininfarina, but with focus on hands on work and engineering instead of just design.

Price will be just under, hold on, one million euro (10 million sek). You heard that right. However, for that price you get a hand built, twin turbo v6 tuned by Nismo, producing 720 hp. The GR-R50 is based on the newly released GT-R Nismo, but for that price, there needs to be more. Say carbon fibre body, completely new interior and one hell of a chassis. Even though the exterior makes the GT-R50 every young kids poster-car, the price is unfathomable high.
